What the wash and blow includes
Every wash and blow at Miin follows the same steps, regardless of stylist tier.
- Double cleanse — Your stylist shampoos twice: the first wash removes product buildup and oil, the second cleans the scalp. We use Korean professional shampoos selected for your hair type.
- Conditioning — Your stylist applies a lightweight conditioner to mid-lengths and ends, then rinses. This keeps your hair smooth without weighing it down for styling.
- Blow-dry and styling — Your stylist blow-dries and styles your hair with a round brush, flat brush, or diffuser depending on the look you want. Volume, smoothness, or natural texture — just let them know.
What makes a Korean blow dry different
Korean blow-dry technique focuses on volume at the roots and soft movement through the lengths — not the stiff, curled-under look you might get elsewhere. The goal is hair that looks naturally healthy, with shine and bounce.
Our stylists use controlled heat and directional brushing to create shape without damage. If you have naturally flat or fine Asian hair, a Korean blow dry lifts the roots and adds body without teasing or heavy product. If your hair is thick or frizzy, they smooth and tame it into a polished finish.
Who books a wash and blow
A wash and blow is a standalone service — no cut or chemical treatment required. Here are the most common reasons clients book one.
- Event prep — Wedding, dinner, photo shoot, or work presentation. A professional blow-dry gives you salon-level styling without a full appointment.
- Weekly refresh — Some clients come in regularly to keep their hair looking polished between cuts or treatments.
- After the gym or pool — Quick clean-up and restyle when you need to look put-together for the rest of your day.
- Hair reset — Humidity, sweat, or product buildup has made your hair unmanageable. A wash and blow dry resets everything.
Add-ons you can pair with wash and blow
Since you're already getting a wash, it's easy to add a treatment without much extra time.
- Hair Mask ($35) — Hydrating mask with light massage. Adds about 10 minutes.
- Scalp Ampoule ($35) — Leave-in scalp treatment for dry or sensitive scalps. Applied during your wash.
- Olaplex Bond Protection ($50) — Bond-repair treatment for chemically processed hair.
