I’ve had 3 haircut sessions, 1 hair dye session, and a down perm with Marcel at Miin Hair & Beauty, and every visit has been a great experience. Marcel is very insightful and professional. He always gives helpful suggestions on what hairstyle would suit me while still respecting what I personally want. The results have been consistently great. For my hair dye session, I wanted a cool-tone brown but wasn’t fully sure which shade to choose. Marcel even asked a senior stylist to come over for consultation so they could recommend the best tone for me. They also cross-checked the colour multiple times to ensure it matched what we discussed, which I really appreciated. The entire team is very friendly and welcoming. Came here planning to get a new look for the coming new year and I now have layered hair plus my request of a Korean 2 in 1 hairstyle to try first which was done by their stylist named Marcel. I had some colour and highlights which was nicely made too. He was very attentive to details and did the layers well. A plus point is that they serve complimentary drinks too and they even have a small menu that you can choose from so it makes you feel like in a salon and coffee shop. Looking forward to my next visit again. ☺️

I go to the salon for hair cut. My stylist Joanne has great skill with scissors and is mediculous. My hairstyle keeps its shape after wash and is easy to manage. Like that the salon uses Dyson hair dryers that are quieter than the usual dryers. This brings down the noise stress I associate with salons. My visit to the salon is always pleasant.

Wouldn't go anywhere else to get my hair cut. Joanne has been cutting my hair - and my wife's - for nearly 20 years. The salon is immaculate. Staff very friendly and know you by name. Price is very reasonable especially considering its central location.

This was truly the worst of the worst. I’ve been growing out my hair, and since it always looked flat without volume even after a blow-dry, I asked for some layers. The stylist told me they could only add a little bit of layering, but the final result was completely different. My hair ended up looking like something for a woman in her 60s or 70s, when I am only in my 30s. The layers were cut more than halfway up the overall length, and because I previously had an airtouch color done only on the outer section, the contrast with the inner hair became even more obvious, leaving me with a strange and ridiculous hairstyle. Now, I can’t even wear my hair down, and it’s so bad that I feel like I can’t go out in public. When I went to a meeting, people were shocked and horrified when they saw my hair. Updated on October 12, 2025: I had the opportunity to get a haircut by Pio, Miin’s latest Korean master stylist because Dino was not available, and it turned out to be a really good experience. My hair had been damaged by rebonding almost a year ago, and I had been having trouble trying to repair it but to no avail. Hair trims and hair treatments to try to remedy the damage yielded little success, and my hair looked and felt like dry straw. ☹️Fortunately, Pio was spectacular with my damaged hair! I had a hairstyle in mind for my cut, and he patiently listened to me as I explained what I wanted. After that, he gave me a haircut that not only made my hair look healthy and smooth, it also added lovely texture and dimensionality to my usually limp and fine hair without using any perm or products! All Pio did was use his technical expertise to transform my damaged hair! It’s now 3 days after the haircut, and my hair still looks healthy and shiny with nice movement. I’ve been seeing Jane Tien for years, her cut is excellent and grows out really well for it to last. When it comes to colouring, the dye they use is tip top despite bleaching. Treatment wise is inclusive of the package which is a great pay off. Will be back for more for sure…

First time visiting, was looking for a salon in the area for a haircut as the current hair was looking abit tired and stumbled upon Miin online. Joanne was my hairstylist, she suggested a slightly different style and we went for it. She was really detailed and the results were great and I love the visible difference despite not doing anything drastic to it except for a cutn wash and blow!
